Zion National Park, Utah

View of one of several nice cascades in the Virgin River Gorge from along the paved portion of the trail in The Narrows of Zion National Park.  From the bus stop to the end of the paved section is approximately one mile.

This view is approximately an 1/8 of a mile upstream from the end of the paved portion of the trail.  From this point on as you travel upstream you will be in water 95% of the time.

Baby Grebes traveling downstream with the humans to avoid being picked off by the patrolling Ravens.  We followed these little guys for a mile back to the paved part of the trail.  The mother was nowhere to be seen.
